Substance database

Common substances in safety data sheets – harmonised CLP classification, workplace limits, transport and what of it has to appear in the SDS.

How to read these pages

Substance vs. mixture

The classification shown applies to the substance itself. A mixture is classified from its full composition, using the generic or specific concentration limits.

Harmonised vs. self-classification

Annex VI covers only the hazard classes listed in the entry. For all other hazard classes the supplier classifies the substance itself.

Keep it current

Annex VI changes with each adaptation to technical progress. Always check the consolidated version before you rely on an entry.
